What is Epidemiology?

Study of health and disease conditions and causes in a defined population
Identifies risk factors for disease and targets for preventative healthcare
In our case, we work with scientists and researchers to test the wastewater from our community to identify pharmaceuticals, drug use and disease presence so that informed decisions can be made.
