The Water Authority offers free education outreach programs to students and groups in our service area.  Tours of our treatment facilities and reservoirs are also available.  Detailed information about these tours and presentations is available on our Outreach page

To schedule a presentation or tour, please use the form below or send us an email.

Be prepared to provide your preferred date as well as an alternative date, the number of classes you have, your grade level, the total number of students in that grade level, an email contact and any special requests for your presentation.

We prefer to give in-class presentations to a single class, giving the presentation multiple times in one day.  For field trips, we require a minimum of ten participants. If you are planning to bring your entire grade level, be aware that maximum group sizes apply. For example, the Carvins Cove Reservoir and Natural Reserve field trip for elementary students can accommodate up to 80 students per day. Send us an email to coordinate larger groups sizes.

PLEASE NOTE: The Carvins Cove Water Treatment Facility is undergoing upgrades to its drinking water treatment filters starting September 2018, and tours to that plant will be unavailable until further notice.

We will be back in touch with you within two (2) business days to confirm your presentation or tour.
