The Western Virginia Water Authority offers FREE educational programs to students and groups in our service area. Choose from in-class programs, tours of our treatment facilities, and field trip options. Learn more about our classroom programs and our field trip and tour options.

To schedule a presentation or tour, please use the form below (best method) or send us an email.

In-class presentations for K-5 are 45 minutes in length, and we teach each classroom individually--giving multiple presentations within one day. The maximum number of presentations per school day is four.

Field trips and tours require a minimum of ten participants.

In order to provide a safe and enjoyable experience on field trips and tours, age and maximum group size restrictions do apply. Please review field trip and tour options for these details. Please use the "Comments - Special Requests" section in the form below to provide any additional information concerning group sizes, ability levels, specific learning goals, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: The Carvins Cove Water Treatment Facility is undergoing upgrades to its drinking water treatment filters, and tours to that facility will be unavailable until Spring 2020.
