Authority Cares

The Western Virginia Water Authority offers assistance to help customers who are not able to pay their water and wastewater bills.

Authority Cares, established in partnership with the HomeServe Service Line, provides financial assistance to eligible Western Virginia Water Authority (Authority) customers with past due debt on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers who are unable to pay for their primary water and/or sewer service may apply for financial assistance from the Authority Cares funds to determine eligibility.

This fund currently has $22,500 available each month to help customers who need assistance in paying their bills.
