Swimming Pool Credit Program
Pool credits may be requested for a permanently installed swimming pool where:
- the water does not drain into the sanitary sewer system
- the pool holds a volume of 10,000 gallons or more
- the pool is filled annually with at least 1/2 of the recorded pool capacity
- the location does not have a sewer deduct meter
A Pool Credit Request form must be completed and sumbitted to the Authority billing office annually for a pool inspection and the increased usage must be reflected in the customer's bi-monthly usage in order to quality for the pool credit.
A sewer charge credit up to, but not to exceed $25.00, will be allowed annually for the filling. The credit will be based on the current volume rate times the yearly fill-up usage reported on the Pool Credit Request form.
