Education/Community

The vision of the Water Authority is to enhance the well-being and quality of life for our regional community. To this end, the Water Authority is committed to not only providing high quality service to its customers but to being an active participant in community service projects, including local charitable activities, such as United Way campaigns and Relay for Life, and free SOL-correlated environmental education presentations for area schools. The links below provide information about the Water Authority's community service and educational offerings.

Pictured above are some of the members of the Water Authority's 2005 Relay for Life team. Water Authority employees raised more than $1,400 for cancer research during their first year of participation in the event.
